PC Game from steam: Shatter line review

Image
Hey guys, welcome to the next gen site, i am writing this post after a long hiatus, today i am going to write about the new steam game that i have been playing for some time now, which is shatter line from steam. This is yet another action packed game in the battle royale genre, the story line is quite cool, where the earth has been contaminated with the crystalline alien entities, which are attacking the humans and we have got some kind of powers which we can use to fight against the entities, basically i got little dune film like vibes while playing this game Once you finish the initial story background then the actual fights are much similar to the apex legends or player unknown battleground, the main difference here is the game has some sort of aliens spawning as opponents and you need to fight them to complete certain objective, you also get a team and there are features like match making where players will join your team. Overall i had a ton of fun while playing this game and i
Hello World..!! ...Getting back at blogging after long time..! Hi Guys, Past one and a half year i have been pretty busy with my tech career.. so if u guys don't know i am full time software engineer, and i have been trying to learn new technologies mostly in my free time, so i did not had much time to cover the tech news on this blog. one of the other reasons for not blogging is like i can sense some sort of saturation in the tech world, i mean we are not getting any thing ground breaking in past couple of years. so it's kind of dull and i am not  that much motivated to look into it now. so changing direction of the blog..mostly going forward the posts will be more towards software and day to day stuff that i learned and if something interesting pop ups in the tech scene..! Okay...then until next time!

LineageOS: The Future of Custom Rom?

Image
source: http://lineageos.org/Yes-this-is-us/ Hello Internet, There was quite a turmoil in the custom ROM realm in the past couple of months, the torch bearer of the custom ROM community " Cynogen -OS" from 'cynogen inc' was officially closed, the company was founded on the philosophy of making android ROM such that 'it will be like bullet right in the google's head !!!" but  as it turns out the company has to shut down due to some unfortunate reason, however for custom ROM enthusiastic there is still hope left,as you can see in the image, this is taken from lineage os site, you can see that cynogen has transformed itself in to a new os named lineage os, which also includes original cynogen co-founder, from his statement it is clear that the ROM's going to in existence for quite more time now, and it seems obvious also because that is what is at the core at open source, where large community builds and maintains the software, it can not be

Budget smartphone market: have we reached saturation?

Hello internet, In the last few years we have seen tremendous growth and competition in the budget smartphone market, lots of companies are in cut-throat competition with each other to pack most powerful features in the budget price range. in the india we have several players like xiomi, lenovo, huawei, honor, motorola ans some home grown vendors like micromax, lava, karbonn including android one platform from google. if we look at the budget price here in india is around $100. in this price range most of the smartphones are falling, they pack almost similar kind of specs, xiaomi was the pioneer and leader in providing mind-blowing specs at low price as they usually sell their phone by keeping the margin on each phone lower then others but they  make up the monetory value by selling the devices in higher volume. but from the past few months it seems like the price barrier is fixed at $100, meaning they are lauching new phones at the same price range by changing some specs and givin

Hello internet,              Today technology is advancing so fast that we are fortunate enough to see some cool things happening in the year 2016, for example we are already having a reasonable alternative of the fossil fuel transportation in the form of Tesla motors and many other electric vehicles are also upping their gaming for example a company called  Faraday future is planning to take on tesla in the marketplace,  another thing is we are having the Nike self lacing shoe that was almost a dream in the 'Back to the future' Era.          So we are quite fortunate to witness all this happening in our time, now the latest addition i this ever growing list is JARVIS, the iron-man fame artificial intelligence system that has been bring to reality by Facebook  founder, mark zuckerberg. you can certainly check out the video of it's working, which is pretty amazing,i guess we are one step closer to achieving systems like that, i am pretty sure we will see m

MOTOROLA LASHING SAMSUNG OVER DISPLAY FEATURE ON TWITTER

Image
Hi all, I am sure many of you are using Motorola's rather popular smartphones which spans from budget to premium segments. And why not they have really made a comeback and offered solid phones with cool features. One of the coolest feature on moto devices is Moto display, most of the moto users know this but for others it is the feature in which when a notification arrives it will show some details on screen without fully lightning the screen, you can tap it and see details of the notification and also unlock from there and directly go to app. Also based on proximity sensor it will give all the information like time and other notification count when you take it out pocket or lift to see screen. Works like a charm on devices, but seems like Motorola is getting a competitor in that area, when Samsung introduced aod in note 7. And the company doesnt like that so it takes this matter to Twitter and lashes Samsung over the the theft of this feature. Based on Samsung's
